Studio Policies

CLEANING POLICIES:

  • Per COVID-19 regulations please wipe all surfaces and doorknobs/keypad off with Clorox wipe after your session. Wipes are located under the sink.
  • Furniture and background walls must be returned to their places. Please make sure that the studio is left how you found it. There are brooms/mops in the locker to the right of the fridge and cleaning supplies under the sink to clean up any unforeseen messes.
  • The garbage and recycling bins are in the cabinet to the right of the sink. Please remove any food, diapers, or other stinky garbage at the end of your shoot and take it to the dumpsters located in the loading dock (see attached map).
  • Absolutely NO glitter, confetti, or paint to be used in the studio.
  • ┬áPets are more than welcome at the studio for photoshoots. If you have a shoot with a pet please allow extra time for hair clean up. There are lint brushes under the sink for the couches and other soft surfaces and a good sweep of the studio floor should be completed.
  • Please wipe the hair and makeup area down with Clorox wipes at the end of your shoot.

CONDUCT:

  • Professional behavior is expected while using the space in the common areas of the building
  • No smoking, vaping, or use of open flames
  • Illegal substances or prohibited and will result in the immediate cancelation of your studio time and removal from the premises without refund.

LIABILITY:

  • We strongly recommend that hourly renters carry insurance and liability insurance is required for annual lease holders.
  • We ask that if anything is damaged in the studio during your shoot that you report it immediately.
  • You are responsible for any damages beyond normal wear and tear, excessive clean up, insurance deductible to repair or replace damaged items.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • All reservations fees are non-refundable but can be credited towards rebooking for up to 3 months.

ADDITIONAL FEES:

  • All set up, hair and makeup, tear down and clean up MUST BE accounted for in your scheduled time. Any overage will be charged and flat fee of $50 as well as $100 per hour in 15 minute increments of $25. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Glitter or confetti clean up: $150
  • Repainting fee: $200
  • Any damage to props or furniture will be assessed and you will be billed the replacement cost.

BOOKING PROCEDURE:

  • Contact 7 Lumens with a date and time slot for your shoot. We will check our availability. If the studio space is open a contract is sent out. Fifty percent of your fee is due to reserve your booking. The remaining balance is due the day prior to your scheduled studio time. Payment via Venmo or Cashapp or cash are accepted.
  • You will be given your own door code that will be activated during the time of your booking.
